If you have outsourced to a PEO and you are an HRG I would say your salary is very competitive even for the East Coast.

Yes, we were acquired by parent company 6 months ago and we are eliminating PEO at end of year. There are 3 recruiters, 2 payroll/benefits and 1 manager who are under headquarters. I’m the HR head for our division.

It’s low

Sounds anything but low, I have a colleague that is HRD of 2 hospitals making $92k in South Beach, FL with more experience and more employees.

I learned that someone we just hired, in the same team, 1 level lower, came in making 20k more than me. This role is based in SF, and I'm in the midwest.

I have my master's, two years with the company, and was recently promoted last quarter.

I feel some way about this, and I'm wondering if I should bring this up with my manager? I'm grateful for the raise they gave me and the promotion last quarter, but I don't understand how someone at a lower level can be making more? I'm I being greedy?

Looking for advice on this conversation. First negotiation attempt ever! I’ve been in my role for 1 year. Promoted in from corporate recruiting, 5 years of experience there. No degree, just hard work and dedication.
1) A raise. Currently at $65K, which is about $10K lower than the bottom of the salary range.
2) Title change. My title is Global Total Rewards Project Manager. I design and manage our TR strategy for 17 different countries, and I feel like my title is a little misleading.
Thanks!
