Looking for good Tax advisor - I’m US based, in Cleveland Ohio area and looking for someone who can help with tax planning. Anybody have a good firm or specific advisor they are working with. Doesn’t necessarily have to be in the Cleveland area as most of my planning would relate to retirement and fed taxes. Not too worried about state/local.

Just a rant: A friend of mine told me she attended an awesome leadership conference with entrepreneurs in their 20s. It ended up being Amway and now she is trying to recruit me but it’s being phrased as a “selective” interview process for mentorship. I told her amway is a pyramid scheme/scam and she gave me some spiel about how it’s not. One of the soundbites is how many of the people in this are well paid consultants, doctors etc but are choosing making money this way lmao

Am I crazy? I am barely cracking 35 hrs a week, getting paid over 400k TC and tons of autonomy. I am bored out my mind and looking for opps outside consulting even if it means a cut in pay/title and increase in workload.

I am so tired of Deloitte allowing bias towards MDs. Only because you are not an equity partner, your voice is automatically muted, you can contribute but you don’t get to decide. The minute a senior manager gets promoted to a principal, he gets on top of an MD with 15+ years experience and treats you like he is your boss. I mean this is a cast system at its best! I can’t wait to leave this firm, COVID can’t end fast enough.
