Fully vaccinated but still paranoid about catching Covid😭

DPW has made the Covid-19 vaccine mandatory for all U.S. offices. Anyone who doesn‘t have the vaccine will not be permitted to enter the premises. Can I please check how the other BigLaw firms are dealing with this? Don‘t want to start a political discussion, but this seems very intruisive to me.

Anyone else seeing all negative results for COVID testing at their hospital? We have had several patients who are clinically positive with no other explanation and they test negative over and over. Could it be faulty tests or technique? Or that some people don’t test positive until a few weeks after their symptoms? All I know is I don’t trust these tests one bit. Scary thing is, if the patients test negative they are not isolating them and some nurses are only wearing surgical mask in room.

Yeww!! My SO just got his first round of the Covid vaccine today. Feeling a little better about this new year.

My roommate just went to see her boyfriend knowing he has Covid. I asked her not to go seeing as I’m not vaccinated and she said she needs to check on him (he has 3 roommates so he’s not alone). I told her that if she goes to see him I’m not comfortable with her coming back and asked if she could stay with him until they both get a negative Covid test. She said it’s crazy to ask her to not come home and said I should get a hotel if I’m that concerned.

Mandated COVID vaccines. What are your thoughts? Now that they have full FDA approval, why do you think so many are against it? Or why are you personally against it? Kids are required to have certain vaccines to attend school, many colleges require students to have vaccines too, and healthcare workers have been required to take certain vaccines for many years. Yet many people are reacting like vaccine requirements are a ‘new’ thing. I still haven’t gotten my 3rd jab, but would if required… 🤔
