Any internship leads/opportunities in Process Industries, or Engineering firms for Chemical Engineering graduates pursuing their MS?
Hi Fishes! Did anyone in this bowl undergo an internship with D-USI before starting as a full time employee? If yes, can you share your internship experience?
Is it my luck or are recruiters really backed up and taking forever to get back about status? I got an offer for an internship only after reaching out about status a week after they said they would get back.
Need to take an intern + team of 5-6 out to do something fun in NYC. Staying at south end of manhattan.
I am graduating with a degree in PR and a lot of internship experience. Do you think taking a post-grad internship with a major agency is a good entry point? Or should I hold out for full-time?
Resume/LinkedIn question: I am a senior student graduating in a couple of months. I am going to join Google this fall as a SWE. My previous work experience includes an internship at Google, and a summer spent working on open source (PostgreSQL) during Google Summer of Code. In addition to a lot of college coursework projects (CE major). Most of these projects are worth mentioning and they cover a diverse range of fields. At what point should I drop coursework projects from my Resume/LinkedIn?
Anyone know of any NYC agencies or companies looking for an intern for 8-10 hours a week (preferably paid) ? Could be in accounts, sales, social media, content creation, or general marketing!
I’m a computer science student graduating this December. I have a 3.9/4 GPA and a decent resume but my biggest weakness was that I had didn’t have a good internship. My question to you all that work in the SWE industry is do you think it would be better for me to take the first offer I get and start working, or hold out and get some certificates and complete more projects and search for a better offer to start off with.
Has anyone here made the switch from consulting to a technology startup or venture incubator in another country? I currently work at KPMG (Europe based) as a technology advisor but thinking about moving to Asia and joining a tech startup or venture incubator. Curious if anyone has done something similar. (I’ve lived & worked as an intern in Asia before).
I'm looking to refer a friend for internship, anyone wants to help? I've referred like 10 people to Acn but looks like all of them got rejected, I don't get it..
What made your internship special and why did you want to join your firm? Think, fun things or small touches that went a long way, too.
Hello I am new here. 👋 I am currently a Junior, full time student and looking for internship/part time work in accounting/finance in LA area.

Is it any easier to get an offer from MBB as an undergrad intern rather than a full time (out of UG) hire?
Is it a better idea or accept a post-grad return offer after internship or take my chances and recruit with other firms?
Looking for summer internship at a corporate investment bank starting from May to September 2022, referrals needed
Lots of people sick in the office the past couple of weeks. Quick poll. Did you get the flu shot this year and then get the flu?
PSA: Everyone tip your hotel maids. Forgetting to tip your maid is no different than forgetting to tip your restaurant wait staff. Also at most, if not all firms, you can expense your hotel gratuity
Annual training sessions are offered this year from when I'll be 33 weeks pregnant through before I return from maternity leave. I am currently on medically necessary travel restrictions and it's...
Just passed my CISSP on my third attempt!! Took over a year of studying and two bootcamps to finally accomplish this goal. The pressure of everyone knowing I was at a bootcamp both times and (cont.)
I’m kinda new to these terms, but would anyone be willing to explain what SOX does? Trying to wrap my head around what their role is about. Thank you!
Okay something kind of weird happened. Started a new project today with all new people. We met in person today and manager left for home after checkout around 5PM. Three Associates on my team were planning to get dinner, I said I was going to bail to go workout and eat at home. This girl screams at me in front of the whole floor “you are so fake!! you are not going to workout. you’re being fake.” I’m just standing there in shock like what? She’s like “what are you even going to do at the gym”…
Can you remove personal files from your desktop via a UBS or do the Big 4 block their computers to prevent that?
It’s my kids first birthday Sunday and we are in lockdown. Didn’t have baby shower , anything ever special for the kid in the last 1 year due to financial situation. Sisters wedding in India in
How do you teach a 4 yo when they start to lie? Today, my kid quickly put his lunch back into his box when his teachers turned around and lied to his teachers that he finished his food. They were even praising him on how quickly he finished his lunch today. And told us also that he finished all his food as well.
Has anyone experienced or negotiated with a shop buying out their bonus as a condition of employment?
Anyone heard of an ad agency called Exclusive Concepts? I would like to hear more about what the work-life balance is like please for the Marketplaces Specialist position.
I feel like the Senior manager has to redo all (or a lot) of my work. I’ll suggest something, they’ll modify or reject it and then make a decision. Then I’ll execute on that decision and I didn’t have the best idea and it’ll be tweaked again or something comes up and the approach didn’t actually work based on th support. I’m an A2 up for promotion so I should be performing like a new senior, but I feel like it’s clear that I’m not close. For more context, it’s a first year audit so maybe that...
I have 3 year of experience in recruitment and currently working as HR Business associate.. need to know what is offered salary in current market.
Industry FP&A or Deloitte financial and risk advisory controllership group if long term goal is to pursue MBA? Thank you!
If I have between 4-6 years of media buying experience and am also doing paid search, I am Google Certified. What should my salary be? With so much remote work happening right now should we be still allowing employers to use the excuse of average salary for your location?
Why does it feel like all agencies are either totally award obsessed or business obsessed. Is there no agency that can exist with those two working hand in hand? Why must one always come at the expense of the other. Am I just jaded? Idk tbh
I’ve been asked to weigh in on how to improve my firms parental leave policy. It’s currently 8 weeks paid for birth parent with an extra week for each year at the firm (up to 12 weeks total) and 2 weeks paid for non-birth parent. I’m in a major city, firm is a boutique that has been around a very long time. What would you suggest? Any studies or research you’ve seen recently on trends in parental leave policies also helpful. I’d like to have some sort of data to back up what I recommend. TIA!
Ladies, have any of you made the jump from big 4 manager to mid-tier firm and not regret it? I feel like my optuons in industry in my city are not ideal and wouldn't offer the same flexibility as PA. At the same time, the culture in my office has become too toxic and don't feel like my contributions matter at all. Also, not to mention the lack of business case.
