Finished my MBA and recieved a Senior Consultant offer from EY (3YOE). The pay (90 base+ 10 signing) is what I was making in manufacturing ops pre-MBA (with a guaranteed raise of 10% every year). Negotiating the pay right now but is it worth switching to consulting and taking this "pay cut"? Is the big4 grind worth?

Curently I'm an undergrad student and an MBA student. I started my bachelor's in Aug 2020, from which I graduate in Dec 2022. I started my MBA classes in Jan 2022, from which I graduate in Dec 2023. I want to apply to Amazon as an MBA intern, but it requires the following basic qualification: 3+ years of experience which occurred after completing undergrad and before starting MBA. Just had a phone interview with a local hospital for an entry level medical coordinator position. Salary expectations non negotiable $19.20 an hour…..that’s going to be a BIG NO for me as I have over 6 yrs of experience and almost done obtaining my degree in healthcare administration. What I don’t understand is how are these big companies not wanting to pay the correct salary but want to load you with so much responsibilities.
