I am a Principal Solutions Architect with 13 YOE of which 5 years exp is with Biotech focusing on Public Cloud (AWS) & overall AWS exp. 9 years. I need suggestions /opinions if applying for a Senior Solutions Architect (Level6) at AWS makes sense or if I should aim for a Principal SA (level 7) role at AWS with Healthcare & Lifesciences industry experience. If it makes any difference, I worked for AWS ProServe as an external SA in the past. Any insights / feedback appreciated.

I only have a couple years of experience myself so I am not omniscient about these things but I would say it’s very possible to get into consulting. Consulting in general is big on PM so I would say you have a leg up on many others. However, MBB is probably out of reach without going back for B school.
Internship route is the easiest. But you may be able to get in as an experienced hire depending on how well you interview
As an experienced hire, PM experience is good, but you will more likely be hired based on your industry specific knowledge you’ve gained in the last 1.5 years and/or any specific tech skills you’ve picked up.
Ah I see, thanks so much everyone! Sounds like I should be aiming at applying for general open positions then. I've prepped for case interviews before during university, so I have an understanding of how the entry level goes. Are there things I can do as an experienced hire to make my resume jump out? Sorry that's a pretty general question haha
