I’ve been playing the field the last few months and finally bit the bullet to move from being self employed to working for Liberty Mutual as a customer service representative in P&C. Sounds odd to go backwards, but their offer is much better than what I’m currently making. If any of you work for them in this position, can you tell me what states I’ll have to be licensed in other than my own? I keep reading CA is the hardest to obtain. Liberty Mutual Insurance

There are A LOT of opportunities for physicians at large Pharma companies exploring how to incorporate AI into research and development and commercial efforts if that is something of interest. Recommend looking into departments titled "innovation", "personalized healthcare", "personalized medicine", or "digital health". There are also hundreds of software developers looking for people with clinical training to serve as Medical Officers or Advisors. Look for those in your specialty. If your hospital or clinic has an innovation or digital health arm, which many now do, see if you can connect with that department. Hope this helps you get started. The short answer is, there are hundreds of well paying opportunities for a physician that understands AI if this is a field of interest for you. If you want to stay on the provider side, leading institutions that come to mind are Mayo, Stanford, Dana Farber, and Fred Hutch.
They’re working on it right now at startups similar to Roman. Trying to get doctors that can streamline the process for patients to get seen faster and medications quicker.
Also, other startups would be making robots that can take information from patients and narrow down on diagnoses.

I think there are a lot of healthcare startups utilizing AI, might be worth looking at some of the ones coming out o Boston
