There are A LOT of opportunities for physicians at large Pharma companies exploring how to incorporate AI into research and development and commercial efforts if that is something of interest. Recommend looking into departments titled "innovation", "personalized healthcare", "personalized medicine", or "digital health". There are also hundreds of software developers looking for people with clinical training to serve as Medical Officers or Advisors. Look for those in your specialty. If your hospital or clinic has an innovation or digital health arm, which many now do, see if you can connect with that department. Hope this helps you get started. The short answer is, there are hundreds of well paying opportunities for a physician that understands AI if this is a field of interest for you. If you want to stay on the provider side, leading institutions that come to mind are Mayo, Stanford, Dana Farber, and Fred Hutch.

They’re working on it right now at startups similar to Roman. Trying to get doctors that can streamline the process for patients to get seen faster and medications quicker.

Also, other startups would be making robots that can take information from patients and narrow down on diagnoses.

Wow, this is amazing. I've heard of apps like K Health potentially needing this kind of help, but what you're describing sounds way more advanced. Thanks for sharing.

I think there are a lot of healthcare startups utilizing AI, might be worth looking at some of the ones coming out o Boston

Currently I am making a very low hourly wage (just over minimum wage) with a monthly bonus that fluctuates a lot. In the past year the bonus has ranged from $900-$2400 after taxes. We get no health benefits however we do receive orthodontic treatment at no cost. Is this common for Texas orthodontic offices?

Our employee satisfaction survey is tied to our performance goals. Meaning, if we rate management badly, we cannot meet 10% of our goals which in turn affects our bonuses and raises. We asked HR but they didn’t do anything about it. Is this normal? Is this legal? If not, what else can we do about it?

Just started a new job as an LMHC 7 weeks ago. It’s fee for service. Was told during the interview I’d have a full caseload always and have more stable clients. However, I’ve been getting at least 1 no show/cancel per day and found out that I don’t get paid for it unless the client pays. Now with these no show / late cancels, I have less clients and no new intakes are being put in my schedule even though I’ve alerted the intake dept several times. Is it bad I want to leave already?
