Registered dental assistant in Texas, I am looking for more information on pay and benefits through an orthodontics office. Currently I am making a very low hourly wage (just over minimum wage) with a monthly bonus that fluctuates a lot. In the past year the bonus has ranged from $900-$2400 after taxes. We get no health benefits however we do receive orthodontic treatment at no cost. Is this common for Texas orthodontic offices?

This job will be based out of San Francisco. I currently make $30/hour for the same role in Chicago, after OT it’s about $60,000. Do you think it would be wise to accept the offer? For those that done CSM/AM in SaaS, is it normal having a hard time to upsell? In my company, AMs are responsible for retention and upsell. But I find it very hard to get responses from clients, let alone sell them something. Is this normal in SaaS?

I came from adtech sales, and its much easier to get response from clients and upsell them.

Just started a new job as an LMHC 7 weeks ago. It’s fee for service. Was told during the interview I’d have a full caseload always and have more stable clients. However, I’ve been getting at least 1 no show/cancel per day and found out that I don’t get paid for it unless the client pays. Now with these no show / late cancels, I have less clients and no new intakes are being put in my schedule even though I’ve alerted the intake dept several times. Is it bad I want to leave already?
