Experiencing significantly more back pain since the last month. The work setup hasn’t changed. It’s a generic desk, footrest and ergonomic chair. Suggestions welcome on what I can add to my setup to make it more comfortable. I do take breaks and stretch once in two hours.

Today has been a rough day.

My parents are both immigrants. My mom was orphaned at age 7 and moved to the US after feeling like she had no future in her country. My dad won a visa lottery months before completing his economics degree abroad but came to the US for a better life. They both work hard and things have not been easy. Today I got to take them to a nice dinner to celebrate my first 6 figure salary. They said this is the better life they came here for. I’m beyond grateful.

Any advice for being the SO to someone in business school? We live together in the city he has lived in his whole life, so now he’s got high school, college and now B school people trying to hang out, and has no time for me. Because we see each other at night to eat and sleep, he doesn’t feel he has more time to spare for me on weekends.

My ex reached out after 2 years and said he still has feelings for me. We dated for a few months and broke up because he moved (and wasn’t sure enough about us to want so LDR), then became friends and caught up every few months. He lost a beloved aunt this summer and said that made him re-evaluate his life. He said he would like to see where things go.
