Looking for recommendations for a rear facing car seat that reclines well.

Currently have a Nuna rava. My first was fine with it, but my 2nd (who is 1+) seems to get car sick and pukes on longer trips. She loves her nuna pipa infant seat though (basically lying down) and never gets sick in that. We're keeping her in the pipa for as long as possible, but I need to find a convertible option soon. Curious what other moms in similar situations picked.

Diono radian worked for us really well. We kept them till the kids went to booster.

I’d try the safe in the seat Instagram account. You can do a consult where she helps you pick the best car seat for your needs. She probably knows which ones recline the most but

Chicco convertible reclines well if you have the space. I chose the zip model for easy cleaning

The zip features seems useful! The Rava is a pain to wash.. but I outsource that to hubby lol

Has anyone just been feeling pretty sad and down these past few months? I’ve never really felt this way pre-pandemic but now no matter what I do (workout, talk to friends, yoga) I still feel waves of sadness. I live in a cold city with strict covid lockdowns so I know that that is contributing to my sadness but just wanted to see if anyone else feels like this and how you are coping? I also haven’t traveled or gone on many social outings since last March so Ik that is taking a toll on me as well

I want to brag on my kid, but I don’t want to embarrass him, so I’m doing it here. My college sophomore found out today that he ended up with a B in his accounting class - which is remarkable, given that he received a 50 on his first exam and a 70 on his second. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen him work this hard - and I couldn’t be more proud. The grades that come easily don’t impress me nearly as much as the ones that are hard fought.

What is a useful, comprehensive but not too long of a book for parenting toddlers?

LO is 16 months old, very sweet and social, at the park every day with other kids with either me or her nanny. Not in day care. Yesterday we had a play date and she slapped another baby on the head. Not hard and did not scare her, but the act of “aggression” took me by surprise and I felt terrible about it. I’d like to be more proactive about toddler psychology, what’s to come and how to react/ teach. TY!

I am a clinical research coordinator working in Austin, Texas. I have my Masters in Cell & Molecular Biology and have a year of laboratory research experience.

I’ve been in my position for 5 months now. I make $27 hourly which amounts to about $51,000 yearly. Am I being under paid? Are all coordinator positions hourly? As a laboratory researcher I was salary :(

How do I go about asking for a raise or should I explore other companies or medical schools that have clinical research?

It’s hard to understand COVID-19 rates of infection where I’m at or was, and the contracts was not inline with corporate ideals at least not in the IT sector. Their ideals was radical and the spread of harmful information on past events to prevent ethnicities to get vaccinated was alarming. It has highest infection rate in private sector. Don’t know death rates was strictly remote and put on non-sanctioned project NDA wasn’t signed and never knew until it came down the grapevine.

Sorry for the delay, was sick yesterday. And yes, when I say sick, I really mean hung over. Been a few years since that happened. Anyway, good luck. I personally don't see any plays this week.
