Any consultants turned medical students or know anyone who did the same here? How’s the transition and new life been? Any regrets?
When your team is so sick of eating at fancy restaurants that you have team dinners at Chipotle. Closest thing to home food when on the road
It makes me sick as a man when I see people with power, authority bully and harass others. It's time to stand up and fight these abusers.
Are sick days a thing anymore, or is it just working from home to not fall behind when you can't physically go to work? Asking from my bed.
Everyone in NYC is sick 😷
How hard is it to transition from medical device (e.g., neuromodulation) to pharma/biotech?
Went to kids holiday party using Lyft. My son gets car sick easily so I warn the driver right away. Lots of traffic + he breaks pretty hard = my 2yo threw up 2 blocks before we get off. 5 min later ..
For those with HSAs, are you actively using the balance to pay medical bills? Or are you holding on to those funds and paying bills out of regular savings/checking? Is there an advantage one way or the other?
How many sick leaves does ACN have?
I tried cutting for the first time. I don’t recognize myself. I want to take short term disability to “fix” myself. Therapy isn’t enough. I don’t know how to do that. Has anyone done it? Any advice?
Any rules of thumb for sick teammates on an engagement? Member of team showed up sick and from being in the same room as them our entire group is now under the weather.

Curious as to what the views on canibas (medical & recreational use) are in the finance industry. From what I've seen, it's a stigma compared to alcohol, but maybe it just appears that way?
What are the potential exit opps from Finance Transformation? Pretty sick of process/tech in Finance function and want to do something more fulfilling 🥴
I am scared to take a medical leave of absence for depression / burnout even though I know and my therapist agrees it would be the best thing for me to do right now. I feel like I will be removed from my current team and I will be marked in the office as “weak” (even though I was rated 2 and then 1 for PYs) and it will ruin my chances of being promoted to senior next July. Are my fears valid? Will this medical LOA derail my career progression? Or am I thinking about it the wrong way?
Does anyone get anxious every few days that they're getting sick ...? I'll be fine for a couple days, then have a day where I'm second guessing every throat tickle or sniff. It's aggivating.
Any agencies with good parental leave policies? Or are most through short-term disability or only partial pay?

Does anyone have any tips to get back into a healthy lifestyle after giving yourself a break for a few days. I had been doing really well for the last 2-3 months, was feeling great and lost about 20lbs. I went away for the weekend and didn’t go crazy but let myself have cocktails and dessert and now I’m having a hard time getting back into the habits I had developed. I feel sick but I keep making bad choices
With so much coverage of teachers strikes, I feel like now is the time to join my union. Please share your experience or your perspective with joining your union.
what if we find out this wfh thing is better than traveling and going to the office? THEN WHAT DO WE DO?
I just had an employee tell me they are on the verge of quitting due to burnout- actually going to quit but was told to talk to HR for options (we don't have any in place). The manager wants to keep them as they are one of our best employees. Any recommendations on how to help alleviate burnout when the cause is from customers rather than the company? Is it worth it to let the employee leave and spend months looking for a replacement causing more stress/burnout with others?
Let’s say one of us gets laid off. Does it benefit our search in relation to opportunities through LinkedIn contacts if we don’t update our employment status? Does it hurt? Does it matter?
I owe a lot of my career to the PPD on my project, but she's making me eat hours like CRAY. Worry that stirring the pot will ruin the relationship, honestly is it worth it to nurture the relationship?

I lost my father a few months ago and I’m not coping well. Has anyone used an employee assistance program for this? Should I just seek a counselor privately?
Recent graduate (class of 21) from the UW business school. I came across an open FT associate position at Strategy&’s deal strategy team and was wondering if anyone from S& would be willing to chat? I’m really passionate about consulting and have a major interest in the PE vertical so this was a huge surprise. I’ve been prepping for a couple of months now and would really appreciate the help/opportunity! Would send over credentials but not sure how! PwC Thanks!
Decided to take a leap and leave full time agency life to be a freelancer and/or part timer. I’ve never worked as a freelancer before so wondering how folks have negotiated their rate, hourly vs day rate? For reference, I’m in the Account Management space and have 8+ years of experience. Thanks!
If your CEO asked you to define and articulate what specific items HR and Talent own individually, where do you start? What other guidelines/guidance can you share? (Note that both report to the same executive, who does not have a human capital background)
I’m a tech consultant working in the SAP practice. I’m a second year associate. I have decided that I don’t like the culture of consulting - work more hours, always add more work and responsibility to your plate, etc. I would like to work a job that is more 9-5 that doesn’t expect you to work in so many different things at once. What industry roles should I be applying to? Is leaving after 1.5 years too soon?
Question from a newbie consultant - What are some good online courses/ books to improve consulting skills?
