I can’t stand the gel texture and use either Jelly Belly sport beans or Clif Shot Bloks
I’ve found the best way to learn is trial and error. Personally I’ve stuck mostly to Gu, because I like the roctane ones (higher sodium) & the fact that gu has so many flavors. The downside of them is they can sometimes upset the stomach, moreso after a long run than during the run.
A lot of people love maurten. I don’t have enough experience trying them to know where I stand on them.
Huma and honey stinger are also popular. I’ve used in the past and they’re good/preferred by people with sensitive stomachs.
I’d pop into a running store and buy 2-3 different brands and test them over a few weeks. This way you can learn what works for you and not end up with a surplus from a bulk Amazon order
Gels bother my stomach so I've used Honey Stinger gummies for several years and those work great. Definitely recommend! Almost dangerously delicious hehe
