Alvarez and Marsal is wanting me to come in at an associate level although I’m a senior in Big 4 FDD. Thoughts on this? Person told me associates at A&M get around 90k base plus bonus and seniors there get around 120 plus bonus. Should I push for Senior, and how would I even do that? I already verbally expressed that desire. Should I just wait a few months till I have more than a year of senior experience? Any associates shed light on their bonus? Is it 100% of your salary or more like 20-30%?

I am a ReactJS developer (frontend) with 3.8 years of experience. I currently switched my company but they don't have an opening for ReactJS and kept me on a bench for 3 months and they are telling me now to learn AEM technology and work on the AEM project for now.
They hired me for a package of 16 LPA.
So my questions are is it a good technology to learn? Should I say yes and have a career in it?
Will I get the same package like ReactJS or less? What is future if compared with React?

Help me with some tips please - I got an offer from sprinklr they were ready to pay 19lakh+variable and i was waiting for the offer letter now the HR says the VP agrees to provide only 14.5 lakh. On the 2nd week of joining i got allocated to a project(100% utilization) its been 3 months, the project did not kickstart.. had few meetings but no work at all. Well, I’m out of advertising. After getting laid off on April 30th I held out in hopes I’d find something “cool” and be able to continue dressing like a clown for work (I’m heavily tattooed and have my septum pierced). I took a job as an EA in real estate investment banking and while I do feel relieved to not have to keep up the “cool” agency culture, I’m a little nervous to return to buttoned up corporate America. I know I’m good at my job, but unemployment Swiss cheese brain is real!

Anyone has a job where the offer advertised hourly plus overtime eligible but when you start, they say they don’t allow overtime hours?

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can help my executive manage their inbox? I assume trashing spam emails and flagging important ones, but any other ideas in terms of folder management, etc?

I’ve recently started work at a very young tech startup. Coming from a big law background, this was a huge change of pace/environment. I’m having a lot of trouble getting used to how unstructured the startup is. It feels like hire ups give a set of instructions then talk as if they don’t remember, or then decided rules A, B, C and D applies without being clear this was the case. Is this just the general startup environment? If you experienced this before, how did you deal with It?

*ADVICE NEEDED* I wasn’t paid my full pay last pay period (2 weeks ago) & have been told when I might see it but haven’t gotten so much as an email & it’s not breaking the bank but I’m frustrated by the lack of communication around it & the fact that I’ve had to chase it down.
