Trying to pivot from tech consulting to product. Looking at some of the program manager roles at Microsoft. Would my experience in delivering enterprise tech implementation projects be applicable to PM? I basically work with a cross functional team of devs/engineers, QA, leadership, end users, etc to build the entire platform/product from scratch with the employees as the target end user. 2 YOE at the Senior consultant level.

Interviewing for senior product manager role at Atlassian. Love everything I heard about the company so far but looking at the interviewers profile, am also super intimidated. They are in a completely different class. I am not even sure why I am a candidate here! 😥

I’m a data engineer/engineering manager by trade and massively screwed up by going into MBB consulting, I absolutely despise it and am looking to leave about 8 months in. I have a great offer from a fortune 50 for product management in tech at a similar salary, way more RSU’s but can’t shake off the thought that I wouldn’t be an engineer anymore.
