My firm recently announced that they were beginning a reservation system for hoteling starting February of 2022 for offices . We were told to clear out our offices by December 31,2022 . The lease is not up for renewal until June 2024 at which point they will look to reduce their office space due to a hybrid work model . My issue is what incentive do I have to make a reservation to go to an office when I can simply continue work from home hassle free. Any Thoughts and comments?

Feeling like crap. Long story short, an employee who I am aware is suffering from anxiety and depression went AWOL today. Her manager was worried. I had no idea what to do in this case as everyone WFH in different states and so I called the police asking them to do a welfare check. Embarrassing to admit but I have a hard time putting my phone down and I’m sick of wasting my time. I’ve only found ones that allow you to block access to selected apps but it also allows you to end the blocking period whenever you’d like (thus not really helping my ADHD impulses). Open to hearing suggestions!

Is there a term used when you apply for a job with a change in title, the recruiter tells you you seem more in line with an “experienced” title of what you currently are, makes you go through 4 interviews, and when you get told they want you they also slide in that the salary you wanted at the beginning was for a senior role and since you are now applying as experienced the highest they can go is bs compared to your current salary
