Looking for some advice from women that have been in this position before! I am currently a contract worker for a large tech company, and in the next few weeks I will be pitching for a full-time position (i.e. full benefits & perks) Here’s the twist: I’m currently 15 weeks pregnant. My part-time contract runs out in June, so my full time position would start presumably in July. My due date is August 23rd. Do I disclose that I am pregnant? And if so, when?

I was a contractor and interviewing for the full time position around august last year. I was 4 months pregnant back then and I did not disclose I was pregnant just in case they are biased because of that. I joined them in October and disclosed I was pregnant in November- due in jan this year.

If I was in your situation, I would have disclosed in on the last round of interview because by then I might have got some sort of feedback or feeling that yes they are going to select me.

My advice is to not mention that you are currently pregnant but keep in mind a lot of benefits like paid maternity leave or short term disability may not apply to you as usually there is some requirement for you to be with the company for a certain period of time.

If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I'm 16 weeks pregnant (1st time). My office (in NYC) is re-starting back to work in 2 weeks. I previously had an exemption for fertility treatments as exemptions were given for any medical reason. Now there are no more exemptions being given & I would need to request one from my LoB head.

I’m having a really hard time with my changing body. 13 weeks, I don’t have too many bad side effects of pregnancy or anything so I consider myself lucky (no nausea ever etc) but I’m depressed at work, my skin is completely broken out and showing new broken face capillaries, and I’m not showing a bump yet so I just feel fat and big. My Dr had previously mentioned that I’d be given progesterone after the transfer. I’d like to have that given to my age and history of recurring miscarriages.

Do I ask my OBGYN or my IVF Dr for this prescription? My obgyn is a believer that a baby is nature’s choice; she didn't give me anything during my last pregnancy so I’m not sure how helpful she’d be this time.

Neither my husband nor I are good with change and when my husband and I went for the ultrasound he nervously asked "she's too sick to eat anything other than her vitamins and water, is it ok for her and the baby to go without?" Our doctor just smiled and replied "don't worry, baby takes" I don't know why but that was so funny to us. It kind of became our mantra as we navigate and move our life around that "baby takes," its made it feel more Us vs Change rather than Me vs Him. Thought I'd share

My first prenatal visit was billed as “absence of menstruation” instead of “prenatal visit”, therefore my insurance is not covering it (insurance only covers prenatal visits). Is this normal? Did the doctor make a mistake with coding?
