The Wrong Missy - sucks.
Anyone else watched Shtisel?! Sooo funny.
Newbie to investing and never invested in a company that went through a reverse stock split.
In theory, I understand the market value should increase but I’m not seeing this reflected in the price and naturally my book value/ share is very disappointing.
A) When should I anticipate the stock appreciation to occur?
B) What’s the next move for companies that do this? Issue more shares?
TIA!

Coach
Titles don’t mean much because every company handles them differently. Be sure to highlight what you do and the volume of the product(s) you work on (revenue, users, etc)
If you were doing your manager's work and still are, you can put the title on your CV and explain it more in interviews. Don't let that hold you back. I was hired as a project manager years ago but was in fact doing product work. So that's what I apply for and what my CV says
I can imagine it’s been a frustrating experience for you that you’ve been passed over for the promotion despite doing all the work! I’ve been in a similar situation before, and it’s better to move onto new product specialist roles and try to work upwards again or apply for product manager roles.
Wouldn’t recommend changing your title on your CV to product manager even though you’ve been doing the work, as large companies may do background checks and might find out that you’ve fabricated your title. It might be okay to do that when applying to smaller companies or startups since they’re less likely to check.
Best thing would be to outline all the work you’ve done and demonstrate the impact you’ve made when applying to these new roles.
All the best OP!
Thanks for everyone's input... In case anyone is even curious... I really made it very clear despite my title not reflecting my experience, that I was more than fit for any PM role. 6 years of PM experience is alot. So with that being said and having that new outlook, I landed a new job with the title of software product manager and doubled my salary. Thanks everyone for their input!
