Venting… I had a PC reach out last week for services (commercial real estate) who proceeded to tell me that their project is going to make me the “gold standard” , so rich and etc. further they wanted me to send them a plan of everything needed for all the phases of development and an estimated cost. The call completely drained me and rubbed me the wrong way. Then they brought up my age and me being younger, saying it’s an opportunity of a life time. It felt extremely condescending.

I have this weird question, i was interviewed in a company saying there will be only 1 round followed by HR round for salary discussion. But they conducted 4 rounds and I cleared all the rounds and settled with 7lpa as they couldn't give what I asked (9lpa). It all happened 1 month back and haven't received offer yet. Now 3 days back they scheduled client round and again scheduled one more round tomorrow. Now can I ask more than what they offered since they scheduled these many rounds?

Week 12 now and more vomiting - it is very awkward to end client meetings early (when reaching unproductive part) and rush to the bathroom to vomit. Any similar experiences?

What the most frustrating thing that happened to you this week?

I just had to explain to a business client why it’s probably a waste of time to draft a subcontract before we receive at least a first draft of the prime government contract. (“Yes Mr. Client, the subcontract will reuse the parts from prior subcontracts with the sub that make sense.”)

I would be joining IBM as a project manager. I wanted to move again to technical role in some time. Please share your experiences how easy is it to move. I want to move to Data engineering side.

Not sure this is the right bowl but will ask it anyway. Is it worth taking out unsubsidized loan for the freshman year of college vs using money saved in the 529 plan.
