Back home in India the only time I heard about that term was for folks who went insane. This is exactly why no agricultural reforms took place in the last 50 years. It was political hara kiri to do anything meaningful. You incentivize farmers in two states to grow rice and wheat with zero linkage to market demand. Then buy it up at above market prices and store it in godowns where it rots for decades because no there’s demand for those amounts. Farmers keep flooding their lands using free electricity to grow rice and causing a slow motion ecological disaster to the water table

Got RFE on H1B extension and it got denied. Planning to refile. How long are the refile decisions taking? Premium processing has been stopped, so it will be usual queue? Anyone been through this?
