looking for suggestions for how to price standing up Diversity Consulting Services for startup consulting firm?

How much of a disadvantage do you believe Asians have compared to white people when applying to MBA? I’m all for affirmative action for underrepresented minorities, and truly believe in diversity, but just not for white people who have all the privilege in the world. It really frustrates me that it’s more impressive (because it’s more rare) when a white person gets a 770 on the GMAT compared to an Asian... what do y’all think?

I’m suppose to be attending a work trip celebration with my hubby soon for his job that will include cocktail hours, dinners and a spa day with other spouses. It’s at a resort we have to travel to. I recently found out I’m pregnant with my 3rd and am also now experiencing “morning” sickness all day long. Haven’t told anyone — including my husband (trying to surprise him with gender) and not ready too. Any ideas to get out of this? Or should I just go ahead and tell hubby so he can cover for me?

What's the gender split in your creative department? I asked a internal recruiter that and she seemed taken aback that I would ask the question.

There’s one white, female associate on my floor who I’m friendly with, however, whenever she talks to me she always finds a way to bring up race/diversity. Not in a bad way, it’s mostly just complaining about how poor the diversity is at our firm or bringing up her diversity-related law school extracurriculars. I’ve seen & heard her interact with (white) associates and partners a million times, even in convos complaining about firm issues, without ever raising these topics. Justifiably annoyed?

Do you get the feeling that there is a higher image promotion of women/minority people in Tech?I have seen way to many pictures from major tech companies that promote far more women/minorities than white males in their marketing materials.Wouldn't be better if we hired the best people no matter what the race/gender is?I know some companies are not publishing any gender/race stats but you cant't really demand a 50/50 ratio.Also there is no coincidence that most execs is some companies are British. So this goes both ways.

I was introduced at my former agency as the "female" creative director, and everyone who worked for me thought I was a diversity hire. On top of that, I was told in multiple meetings that the only reason I was invited was because I was "young", which did I mention I'm not. Is any of this type of treatment politically correct?
