Looking for tips on discovery software. Some of our cases warrant the cost of relativity or catalyst, but many don’t. How do you get emails and text messages from clients? I’m pretty tech savvy, but text screenshots and pdf’s of emails with separate pdf attachments just feels inefficient. There has to be a cost effective option out there.

Check out High Q from Thomson Reuters.

I’ve had good luck with Disco. Not sure how big the price differential is, but I think it’s cheaper.

I second DISCO - price is competitive and easy to understand and predictable.
Plus, the efficiency that results is worth the cost. And cost is easy to pass onto client.

Hi All
Anyone from marketing or product teams here. Looking for roles for Sr Manager and above.

With interest rates between 6.5% and 7.5%, it is safe to say that buyers are slowing down in their search.

I am a real estate agent who is in the process of closing on her first home. We offered $15k under list and asked for closing costs to be paid for. Granted, this is in a very small rural town; however, just know... If you have been looking for a home for the last 2 years and have not had great luck, now is the time to take advantage of the changing market. You can refi when rates drop.

A bit freaked out by my “generalist” approach to litigation so far. Almost two years in and couldn’t really say I’m that “good” in any one area.

What is a reasonable amount to accept to settle a case with undisputed liability? Let’s say for example potential damages are realistically $100k-1M. Let’s say cost of defense is $200k. I have 9 months experience as an ID attorney and I absolutely hate my job. My goal was to get a year experience before applying to other firms. I’m a current biglaw associate thinking of lateraling to Quinn Emanuel. Looking for a more dynamic and trial-focused litigation practice, but I’m a little put off by how poorly Quinn seems to invest in support (tech, paralegals, etc) and generally seems to nickel and dime its associates. Curious how these issues feel for Quinn associates on a day to day basis.
