Looking for work-safe perfume. My usual scent is Mademoiselle by Chanel, going on three years - I think it's time to switch.

The YSL one? My roommate wears it and it smells so good!

Sorry - no perfume at the office. I only got half of what I could have out of a two day training course because I was fighting scent triggered migraines and sneezing. Iā€™m sure your scent is lovely but for those of us with the over sensitive gene sometimes even gain laundry detergent sends us to the exdrin. OTOH, probably no one will ever get away with cyanide poisoning in the office with us around.

Just use a scented body lotion if you want scent. Not strong and wonā€™t overwhelm your coworkers

I wear Le Labo although itā€™s quite strong. Jo Malone makes some light colognes

Love jo Malone peony!

I'm not a fan of perfumes on myself or other people. Whenever I notice it it just smells overwhelmingly artificial to me. And when you can't smell it then what's the point of using it?

But recognise that I may be sensitive and to each their own.

I like many of the Jo Malone scents.

I love certain perfumes but apparently there is quite the anti-perfume movement. At a church I visited in Akron, Ohio there was actually a ā€œscent-freeā€ seating area!!

I tend to find that sweet/fruity/floral scents can be a bit too much for work. But things that are on the lighter side, life citrus or herbal, and applied lightly, linger in a softer way, like you just used a nice hair conditioner or body lotion.

like

Le labo noir

Try something very light, like an eau de toilette instead of an eau de parfum, if you really want to wear something, but go SUPER light on how much you use- thereā€™s no nice way to tell someone they smell, whether itā€™s perfume or BO. If your team isnā€™t stuck in a tiny team room, you may have more leeway.

As far as scents go, Iā€™m loving Maison Margiela Replica in Beach Walk- itā€™s not traditionally perfumy, and it really does smell like a day at the beach!

+1 on Jo Malone. Love orange blossom scent. Itā€™s very light

I love Replicaā€™s scents .

Can someone who knows more about the law than me explain why the opinion seemed to focus more on when life begins than plain old autonomy? I read both and they seemed to focus a lot on that point. Are these 2 totally separate principles or why would that concept not come into play? Or is needing consent from the dead not a federal thing

We have a deliverable due on Friday with alot of things to get done before then and seems like no one cares? I ask for status updates and all I get is no, haven't done that, will do it now. Sure enough, ask next day and the response is no, haven't done it yet.

These folks are seniors as well. Partner looks to me to provide a status update, and all I can say is in process.
