Looking forward in my career, one avenue I see is making a switch from manager to strategic leader. I am looking at courses or certifications in strategic leadership. What advice might you have in making this transition and are there any courses, certifications, or books that you might recommend.

I took my first Data Science job in a very small company and I had no idea what the job should be like because this was my first.

I ended up doing software design and other engineering tasks during years, not a lot of research or data crunching.

I’ve been an LPN for 8 years, predominately in pediatrics, both in patient and home healthcare. I’ve worked in medical offices for 10+ years before that. Industry Advice: I am currently in a Commercial P&C CSR broker position working with manufacturing and staffing clients. I am working towards a promotion within my same team in the near future but an Account Manager position has opened up now in the construction space within our office. Should I voice my interest in the construction AM role even though I have a limited amount of construction experience or wait the six months for the AM position on my current team?
