I recently left consulting to work at a FinTech startup here in Chicago. We’re filling out our Business Analysis team (going from 3 to 6) and I’m looking for Directors and Managers. Required skills include SQL (can use joins, case-when, etc. - not a data warehousing role) & Excel (pivots and index-match), and a nice to have would be an understanding of lending/credit programs and exec presentation skills. https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/1989629988 DM me if interested! FYI - we’re remote currently. Also, sorry but we do not sponsor.

Is pharma still hiring like crazy? I’ve always worked on shopper/CPG/retail and got a new job a few months ago but feeling burnt out on consumer goods and realizing that pharma/health is more aligned with my longer term interests.
In need of some guidance re: a potential promotion. A senior writer on my team is leaving and I’m hoping to transition into that role (I’m mid level). Last week I talked to my GCD/manager about the writer leaving. We mostly only talked about passing along recos to get a referral bonus. Then it hit me hours later: I’m the one for the job. I set up time to talk to said manager. I have my reasons all set and ready but I’m worried they’ll say no on the spot. How can I best prepare?
I just want a 9 to 5 job, nothing stressful and making decent ish money. Work in a data analyst type role atm, what can I do where I just get that 9 to 5? Don't really mind if the work is boring tbh
I have this feeling of anxiety always running in the background. Any advise to cope with it? 😔 I tried meditation, which helps - but only at the time I’m doing it. The anxiety comes back not long after. It’s not fun to feel like I’m on overdrive all the time. I’m unable to concentrate both on the job, and outside of that as well. Anxiety is situational mainly due to a project that’s toxic. Can’t leave as leadership isn’t letting me roll off for now.

For example, ford factories are sometimes 100 years old and most are around 30 years but they all range in niceness/quality

I’ve been doing healthcare essentially since DTC was made legal. In all those years, the majority of people in charge on both the client and agency side have been women. Even on men’s health. Cont...
Let’s pretend we’re holding companies. I’ll start: No, we can’t hire an extra writer even though you’re clocking 70+ hours a week. BTW, our contract with your client caps billable hours per employee because they know we don’t pay overtime. Here’s a non-billable code you should start using for the rest of the year.
