Can you really get $900K as at tech role at FAANG??

I got an offer for a 3-mo contingent role at Meta as a CSM that pays more than double what I make now.

The pay rate makes it hard (if not impossible) to say no - but I'm apprehensive about accepting a contract offer, especially one that's only 3-months  ending on Jan 2.

Obviously, I'm already thinking about what I'd do next. I'd love to stay in tech. Just curious if anyone has experience with a short-term contract & what the job-search process looks like during/after the contract expires.

Anybody had to deal with their hiring company’s background check process with Sterling? They got a report done within one day but blatantly put my last hospital’s date started and date ended totally wrong (like years off) and made up a bogus job title not even related to my position. Our company is attempting to move from basic agile to the scaled agile framework (SAFe). In preparation, we are trying to make clear who will fit into each role. There’s some confusion around the “business owner” role, and what titles might assume the role. Would an IT manager be an example of a “Business Owner”? IT director? Management on the business side?
