How would you account for promotional sensitivity of products when you apply weights to a drug portfolio? For example, a drug could be first-in-class and as a result doesn’t have to be promoted as much as another drug which has some competition. We have some weights from sales but how do you include weights for promotional sensitivity on top?

Question: I've had 2 opportunities cross my path in the past week. One is on the on the way towards a pivot I want to do and it really the one I think I'd want but the 2nd came through a former boss, is $20k more a year than the first, but only slightly different from the job I have now. I'd be stupid to let the latter pass waiting to hear about the former but it's not 100 percent down the path I want to follow. I'm torn...Advice?

Five hours later the agency that hired me (the offer was sent in the end of February) dumped me and rescinded the offer. That was a big agency. Network. I live in NC where there’s not many options for good creative work. There are a couple good agencies but they’re smaller and only have a couple copywriter openings a year. I want to do good work, but does that mean moving to NYC/LA (or somewhere similarly far away)? If I was 24 with no family, it’s no biggie. Any advice from folks who’ve made a big move, or found a way around it?
