If you want to spend that much on a watch buy a mechanical and it’ll still work when you pass it down to your kid
You’ll pay tax if you purchase in a state that has a retail presence for whichever retailer you choose. But also I’m anything but a frugal person and still think the Hermès Apple Watch is such a waste of money...
Basically you’re buying the strap. On a device that will be obsolete in a year. For me, if I’m going Hermès, I rather get their leather product which will last a lifetime e.g. clutch, small bag, bigger bag (if funds allow)
Not really sure the point of this question - sales tax is determined by the state you buy in and what the state charges tax on (ie some states do not tax groceries, clothing). Suspicious on the Birkin humblebrag - those are not tax free
Have a birkin, belt, etc. I’d like the watch for health reasons, usability, etc. The question wasn’t about if I should do it- it was about whom to buy from
Buy the regular watch, then the band. Save a few hundo overall
