No experience with the St Regis specifically but if you’ve never been to aspen, I highly recommend. It’s truly amazing and there’s nothing like it
Some how prefer Westin riverfront resort next to beaver creek .. I did try ritz at bachelor gulch and both st Regis .. I felt Westin riverfront suites as the best
The old Westin at Snowmass (now an Autograph Collection) has awesome ski in/ski out. Not as luxurious, but the skiing is great and can’t beat ski in/ski out.
Aspen - make sure you get to Snowmass too - fun mountain. Beaver Creek - make time to get to Vail too. Deer Valley is near Park City too but one is Ikon and one is Epic so you’d need to buy another pass.
I also really like the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch (Beaver Creek).
Came here to recommend RCBC. Absolutely love it.

One of the bloggers I follow recently did a review of the StR Aspen: https://onemileatatime.com/reviews/st-regis-aspen/ The Park Hyatt Beaver Creek is only supposed to be so-so.
I read Ben's review too! StR Aspen looks great but thinking about the convenience + ski in/out trade off
Aspen is a top notch ski town. Just got back from a trip there. So much to do and like another poster said, definitely do a day at Snowmass
