Love: WFH, Flexibility of not being “chained to desk” all day because I don’t have to take outside customer calls, ability to complete work assigned at any time of day within 72hrs, no micromanaging from my Supervisor, feeling like I’m my own boss

Hate: getting assigned bulks from others and it throws off efficiency of reviewing suits, monotony, depositions

Looking for some advice on landing a mid-level REMOTE role. How can I get interviews and make myself more hire-able? 10 years prof experience with the same utility company, following an MS in Mechanical Engineering. Also got an MBA along the way from the local Liberal Arts College. My experience is in regulatory, engineering program mgmt, and currently construction project mgmt and supervision. Would love to go more technical and/change industries obut can't afford to step backward in pay.

I’m a 3rd year in biglaw, worked out of the NYC office before wfh. Went on vaca to Miami recently and absolutely loved it... thinking of moving there. My firm has an office in Miami too. Few Qs: 1) are big firms typically ok with office transfers? (I heard I have a good rep with the seniors and partners). 2) is it easy to just change your address in workday to FL so that income taxes are not deducted? The risk of people not being aware is there but sending separate emails for every sub-program, webinar is annoying (as a receipent) I understand employee perspective.

I worked as a pastry chef for 5 years then I left my last kitchen job just before COVID. Ended up in a work from home administrative director position where I have gained a lot of experience.
