Based on criteria for intl and the time difference, you’re looking at spots south of the border. Probably Mexico.

Puerto Rico!

Let’s take a poll: What do you love/hate about your position in Insurance? I’ll go first:

Florida PIP Litigation 1+yrs at Progressive

Love: WFH, Flexibility of not being “chained to desk” all day because I don’t have to take outside customer calls, ability to complete work assigned at any time of day within 72hrs, no micromanaging from my Supervisor, feeling like I’m my own boss

Hate: getting assigned bulks from others and it throws off efficiency of reviewing suits, monotony, depositions

I’m a 3rd year in biglaw, worked out of the NYC office before wfh. Went on vaca to Miami recently and absolutely loved it... thinking of moving there. My firm has an office in Miami too. Few Qs: 1) are big firms typically ok with office transfers? (I heard I have a good rep with the seniors and partners). 2) is it easy to just change your address in workday to FL so that income taxes are not deducted? Obviously I’ll have to work with an accountant for end of year taxes and such. Cont’d below...

In an increasingly hybrid/remote working culture, how do you educate and convince your business stakeholders to not do info overloads with emails? I worked as a pastry chef for 5 years then I left my last kitchen job just before COVID. Ended up in a work from home administrative director position where I have gained a lot of experience.

I miss the restaurant/hospitality industry but don’t want to go back to working an unbalanced lifestyle in the kitchen. I’m still very passionate about food but don’t know where to go from here. I’ve considered restaurant consulting but still feel stuck on branching out. Thoughts? Recommendations?
