Chase freedom baby

like

Chase freedom unlimited or the new chase freedom flex card - both are 0% apr for at least 12 months and have a nice SUB

AMEX blue cash everyday or cash magnet card (overall less SUB offers for these cards)

Citi double cash back card is 2% back in all purchases, but no intro APR on new purchases (just balance transfers)

Capital one quicksilver is 1.5% cash back on every purchase and $200 SUB after $500 in first 3 months and 0% APR for the first 15 months

^^ the card you go with is really going to depend on what you’re current wallet looks like and the companies you use/prefer.

If you shop at Amazon get the Amazon rewards card through chase. 5% at Amazon. No fee. Cash back

Hey everyone. I'm seeing so many people with 6-figure salaries and I'm starting to question my own for my education/experience/location. Making ~73 as a design engineer with 7+ years of engineering experience, a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue, and working/living in Indiana. Am I right to question my salary in my situation?

I am a Senior Technical Advisor who has been working in the oil field since 2013. I’d like some suggestions for going this route or any other positions that may be a good fit for me based on my resume. Any experienced input would be greatly appreciated!

Serious question - is there a reverse FIRE strategy? I like the idea of saving and retiring early, but the one hiccup I see (and sorry if this is grim) is if you die earlier than expected. I’d be worried that I would minimize lifestyle and fun for retirement at 50 but I’d die at 49. How about a way to work 9 months out of the year and retire/travel/relax for 3 months? This way you guaranteed your dreams/etc. are fulfilled
