1) Automatic Longines, but ones we like (eg dolcevita) look similar to cartier.
2) Manual Nomos, but only 43h reserve would that be annoying?
3) Quartz <$500 & buy jewelry instead, but no idea at that point what to get.
4) Or drop more $ for Cartier or lady DJ (though she doesn’t find it worth the $)

Hey B2B pre-sales and post-sales engineers (SEs and CSEs). How do you collaborate on a customer who closes?
* Do you have one pool of SEs who do both pre- and post-sales?
* Do you have separate SEs and CSEs and a relatively hard handoff? (SEs aren't really seen again after CS onboarding?)
* Do you have some hybrid model where pre-sales SEs are still involved to some degree post-sales with CSEs?

How do you transition from big 4 consulting to big law? My clients are all funds, and I do international tax consulting. I have used my connections to refer me into probably 10 big law firms and it’s not working. One most recently came back and said they aren’t interested bc I have no law firm experience. How am I supposed to get it though? I can’t go to lower ranked firms bc my clients are all “big.” … any suggestions appreciated!

I have built social media and influencer programs for starts up for the last 8 years. I recently had a very unprofessional experience recently going through an interview process. I had 3 rounds of interviews already, did an amazing case, my last interview was scheduled with the CMO, the day before the interview I am told that the CMO wants someone who has big brand experience like Taco Bell or Nike. It blew my mind because this is a start-up too & that my qualifications don’t even matter.

Every year I end up owing about $12-15k in federal taxes. (Plus an underpayment penalty). If you’re a single senior associate with no dependents, have you figured out a way to not under withhold? I.e. number of exemptions, extra withholdings each paycheck.
