Is she ok with that plan ? Or she prefers to stay back in India with community, friends and extended family? Asking because most single parents I have seen preferred that way.

I think that should be totally fine. You're not violating either of the visas. The only thing to watch out for is quarantine requirements and travel bans for visa holders for the two countries.

Should be fine. Plan for her to stay in Canada during summers and in the US in winter.
