Sainsbury's Has anyone interviewed at Sainsbury's DTD? I have a Tech + Behavioural Competency Interview scheduled for a Cloud Engineer role and would like to know how it would be?
Any employees who are currently working in DTD?
Could you please shed some light on how the general work culture is and how's the hybrid working flexibility?
Thanks in advance!

Can’t go wrong with either. Go try them on and see which sings to you. My wife loved a Reverso and thought she was going to buy it until she tried on a Santos and it spoke to her. She still wants a Reverso but we ended up buying the Santos on that day
From a wearability perspective, Reverso is thicker, feels more substantial, and can get away with a larger size since the lugs curve down; there are many different models and variations to choose from. Whereas with the Tank, it’s thin and flat, so unless you have a very large wrist, the mechanical XL version is way too big; the Large (quartz) is the best size in my opinion but some may say it’s too small. I’ve come very close to buying both but never pulled the trigger. The new Tank Must in black (to be released this fall) has me interested again, though. The Santos Dumont is also worth a look.
Thanks for pointing these things out. Will def need to go try them on

I cant get over the thickness of reversos I really wanna like them but I cant
Cartier has grown on me a lot but the reverso has so much history. I think the Cartier is definitely flashier so it all depends on the preference! Do you know the history behind the reverso and why it was made?
I’m sure there is more to it than what I’ve read but yes, historically used by polo players. Totally useless mechanism these days, but I’m digging the look. I also think some of the vintage Cartier pieces like the 1575 Santos are less flashy.

Are you sure you’ll actually get out of your comfort zone? If you end up never wearing it, it’s not worth pulling the trigger on it, so I’d recommend trying both on and make sure you know how/where you will wear it, otherwise it’s tying up funds that could be used on another watch.
That said, I prefer the look of the Reverso over the tank, but am not a rectangle watch person.
Definitely something I’m going to think through and try on multiple times. Likely a 2023 or 2024 purchase so I’ll also have the benefit of time to make sure my taste doesn’t change.
