Does the word “inclusion” do more harm than good? What if the panel we simply said “Diversity & Equity”? My thought here is that inclusion insinuates that anyone who isn’t in the “majority” needs to feel “included”, which could be somewhat off putting. Any thoughts on Georgia tech’s OMSCS vs OMSA? Non-CS background in economics - very quant degree - and want to do the former but unlikely due to lack of accredited courses in CS. Intention is to do DS but want a proper math grounding and knowledge of SE to build models that fit into existing infrastructure.
