In-ear headphones are also a good option. With high end ones ($350+) you can even get your ear molded by an audiologist and have custom IEMs created. So then you're basically wearing ear plugs that happen to have great sound quality. Just don't get Beats pleasedeargod
I've been looking at Sennheiser noise canceling + wireless. They're $500 though...
Bose over ear headphones are perfect for flights--best investment I've made
Sennheiser, B&O, or Bose
^wooooah. Are those wireless as well? What places offer this service? I've never gotten in ear cuz it always falls out lol
I better check out sennheiser. Been on bose q 15 for a 3 long yrs.
You can also get custom ones molded to your ears, 0% ambient noise gets through those.
Check out Shure IEM
@PwC - you can get custom molded IEMs from JH Audio, Ultimate Ears, Shure, and others. Expect to spend around $450 between the audiologist impressions and the actual headphones. Check out Head-Fi.org to do more research.
Over the ears: sennsheisers or audiotechnica, ath-m50x, v-Modas. For in ear, $8 Amazon ones are great, or spend $100+ for jaybirds or shure
Bose qc 20i. In-ear, Noise cancelling, iOS controls with a microphone for phone calls, and great sound. Also, the noise cancelling on the qc20s is excellent. I think for traveling consultants in-ear headphones make much more sense. You can put them in your pocket or bag really easily, use them in the office, etc. I hate carrying around over ear headphones everywhere. Portability is key
