Are you using Canva to make this? I would recommend making a regular document instead. I’ve heard Canva doesn’t process correctly through applicant tracking systems. Also, if you are looking for software opportunities, I would cut back on highlighting your sales/digital marketing experience. Creating a project with the programs you have learned and linking that on your resume will speak more to your ability to work in software. Maybe even move the programs you know closer to the top, since that’s more relevant to the type of work you are after. I hope this helps
Reorder your sections:
Education (since this is most relevant)
Work experience
Technical Skills (again, most relevant)
Professional skills
Extracurricular + Interests (this is more of a pique an interviewer’s interest section, so leave it at the bottom)
Mentor
Take out professional skills and interests. In work experience add more quantitative results. Also add clubs or student organizations eg wake tech computer club. Take out knowing English as a skill add Microsoft office like word PowerPoint excel if you can
I also never understood including interests (and have never had them on my own resume) but there was a thread I saw a few weeks ago on fishbowl where hiring managers said that it made people stand out and had gotten people interviews
This needs help!
No colors, no different font to begin with.
Remove title from top. Sometimes the job title can be slightly different at different companies.
Hope this helps as a fire starter.

None of those items are really issues when trying to stand out among a pile of resumes.

I would flip education and work experience section and remove your personal interest section. Everything else looks fine. What I would focus on is going to a certified coding boot camp to help you enhance your resume. It is very challenging unfortunately without a degree to get into coding these days because there are so many candidates. You will want a little more practical and applicable education if you can to help enhance your resume. Also look into freelance opportunities that you can add to your work experience in the meantime while looking for full time software engineer roles
I would use a consistent font and color. I like this but the gold/yellow is very distracting. I would do all black.
I paid someone to format my resume and they left some color in my resume. Also, the internet has plenty ats friendly documents to use.
