At the end of the interview, the person told me I passed the interview and they were going to talk to the Director who’s a level under them. It’s a yes for them and they’re happy to work with me.

I also sent my references. I don’t know when I can expect an reply. Recruiters from that company aren’t really organised

Anyone noticing that referrals do nothing these days? At my current company a referral is an automatic call back/phone interview and IF u meet the requirements u get an interview. I’m seeing that now a referral can still be a rejection. Are the people asking for referrals in this bowl actually hearing back ?

Advice needed! I interviewed with my favorite company 3 months ago for a role I was interested in but had no experience. They were looking for someone with experience so they passed on me. The recruiter and I had a great relationship, she said she has a different role for me in mind and would give me a call when it opens up and told me I can reach out in a month or two. 1) does MBA actually improve someone's chance in getting those roles?
