Hello, out of curiosity of the current actuary salary in the market, just wanted to ask this:

What would be the salary expectation for a newly qualified actuary working in the life insurance / reinsurance industry (in London) with 3 years of experience?

I am 29F and earning 13LPA. I have been working for 4 years of which 3.5 years I had very low pay and close to 0 savings. I have been able to save 6L now.

My investments below:
* Elss funds - 2 (total 1.5L annually)
* Large cap mutual funds - 6 (total 40K sip per month) current portfolio of 4L
* FDs - 2 of 25K each

Need help I raised resignation stating my health problem

They said they cannot process immediate reliving, so i raised resignation with relieving date as 90th day

Now they are saying as you wont work on your notice period, you have to be in the organisation as in gaurdian leave which wont pay me any penny for 90 days

Now how can i ask fa quicker relieving, hence they are saying you are resigning due to health reason

I’ve got an offer from PayPal for fixed term contract through an agency. They also mentioned that is most possibly to extend that to a permanent role.

They haven’t send me the contract yet until they finish with the background checks which is something that I’ve seen for the first time. It’s already been couple of weeks.
