Has anyone ever heard HRU

What's the salary range for a director at the Gilead Sciences foundation? There is a position perfect for me, but I don't want to throw my hat in the ring if starting salary isn't $180-190k. Also, any thoughts on the stability of their philanthropic commitment? There's talk of a recession; I don't want to go private to be cute a few months later.
Question: does your Gov job not provide 100% paid healthcare upon retirement? I’m assuming you are not retiring just moving on.
Most individuals who work in a specific industry inside state gov (transportation, environmental, parks etc) know that if you’re stepping into the private sector within your field the pay is usually higher. I’ve been in/out state Gov & outside sector (same field) and pay is higher and insurance is not as frightening one would think.
Outside companies are usually very forthcoming with their benefit packet information as well. You should have a good idea before jumping ship 🙂
Good luck no matter which path you take!
I’m 44 and have to wait till I’m 65 to collect have have medical. If I leave before 65 I need something to cover. I am currently a 20 year employee at $80k and topped out on pay. Currently have a vested pension and pay about $100 a month for medical.
Are there higher classifications you can move into? Or can you move to a different agency? And, have you considered going fed? Depending on the job, pay can far exceed state gov salaries. Some pensions will also give you a limited amount of time credit for time served with the feds.
There are higher ones however in other agencies that hire from within.
Have attempted several times to transfer to no avail.
As for fed, only found contract durational or aged out.
