When is PwC promotion day(s)?
Hi everyone, Does anyone know if there is a minimum number for months you will have to be in salesforce to be considered for promotion which usually happens in Feb-March? And do they promote people before Fem/March too? Actually I am offered a Technical Consultant position but I see on linkedin few people are joining as a Senior Technical Consultant at the same experience as me, so I am concerned a bit... I think 25-30% is pretty reasonable in DC and Arlington

I lived in Arlington and the annual hikes in rent were wild, just another factor to consider

Idk if you’d find a place for several years (they tend to significantly increase rent)- but one year at that ratio is totally fine

WC Smith caps annual rent increases at five percent, so maybe look at their buildings. They’re a good management company overall, too.
Do what makes you happy. I moved to the corner of 14th and U because I had a goal to live in the city. I was probably paying about 40% but it was worth it for a year and then I moved out. I loved it because it was a goal of mine but found it wasn’t worth it for me anymore since I was at a different point in my life.

~30% is the norm even w/ a roommate for nice 2bd2br I would however lock in a lease for longer than a year - two if you know you love the place. Rent jumps in this city are brutal

Buy a condo at that amount
Condos are constantly cropping up all around the city, esp. in AdMo. I’d just buy one. The mortgage would be less than your rent, and you’ll have something to show for it when all’s said and done.
