Looking to switch gears from manual QA, preferably into a DevOps, CI/CD, security, or other backend roles. Would be willing to start at a non-senior position while learning, but I have a proven record of doing so quickly.

The recent most billable hours post, inspired me. What is your longest billable day? Mine was 56 hours straight with no break—and the partner was more than a jerk when I was saying no more at the 30 hour point. That was two 24 hour billable days back to back on my time sheet and on the bill, a 360 hour month, and 650 aggregated for two months. And it is one reason (of so many reasons) why this job can suck so much! At least I got a good bonus...

Arlington - parking enforcement gave me a ticket for expired registration. Turns out they started reinforcing in November, mine expired in September. Ticket says that if it’s within 90 days of expiration then you can get the ticket dismissed if you get it fixed. It’s 90 from when enforcement started, but over 90 days since expiration. What are my chances of getting it dismissed?

If it’s 2021 and my boss sends scanned, handwritten illegible comments on a word document can I respond back with🖕🏼? But seriously can I push back and tell him to suggest edits and add comments into the document like a civilized human???
