Hi All,
After ED round of interview I got a mail from HR asking to submit few documents. In the mail HR has mentioned that I'm one of the shortlisted candidate and final selection is yet to be made. So how are my chances of getting an offer.

Just moved to Midtown from BOS and really enjoying the area. It has everything within walking distance and also close to most firms and easy travel to Airport. You get wayyyyy more for less money vs any other major city (particularly Northeast).
SM1 that’s great to hear. If you don’t mind, could you send me names of neighborhoods where these units are on sale
Decatur (near the square) has a local vibe but is truly an “island” which is hard to get to anywhere in the city. Little five points has a Haight Asbury vibe (for good or bad).
Do O4W, Inman park, Poncey-highlands area. It’s the most lively part of town, most walkable part of ATL, and there’s always stuff going on. You’ll be ubering to this area every weekend if you don’t live there
Try Midtown too
Agree! Midtown is a good spot
Neighborhoods don’t seem to have the local coffee shops that people walk to on the weekends. It’s all heavy commercial and strip malls. Am I missing something?
Try the Inman park area
What? Not in those three neighborhoods. Inman Park is great as well. I love west midtown but with the new construction traffic will be bad. Also, very limited buying a place there.
I made this move one year ago. Try East Atlanta Village.
I live in Virginia Highlands and love it - I think it has a pretty local vibe. Along N Highland, there are four main pockets of bars/restaurants/shops - Virginia Ave (best, in my opinion), Greenwood (Atkins park is a great local bar with surprisingly solid food), Amsterdam, and Lanier/University (technically Morningside). On any given weekend, I’ll typically walk to press n grind or Callie’s for breakfast. Maybe head to Piedmont or Beltline which aren’t too far, especially with bike or scooter.
Would also recommend Inman Park as a more established neighborhood. Also check out Kirkwood, East Atlanta Village, Grant Park, and Decatur.
Depends on what type of neighborhood you’re looking for, how far from office and other things. Most of these neighborhoods will have at least one area that has high concentration of bars, shops, restaurants that shouldn’t feel like strip malls.
Let me know if you have any questions!
There’s so much construction going on in Atlanta. You can find that in most neighborhoods.
Gay ?? Str8 ?? Single ?? Kids ?? Party or settled ? Liberal or conservative ???
Straight 35 M.... single, not a partied but I like to be around people so I am thinking the higher density of ppl in a high/mid rise...slight lean to the left on politics
Take a look at Castleberry - converted warehouse lofts, art galleries, variety of restaurants, walkable to Marta and centennial park. Lots of development happening around the new stadium, but we’ve been able to keep a nice vibe in our little hidden neighborhood. I’m also mid-30s and it’s just the right amount of energy for this phase.
I would also check out downtown Decatur as well.
What’s the reputation of Buckhead? I’ve only seen the shopping part of the neighborhood but I seem to find a lot of decent apartments online
Personal opinion - Buckhead is overrated. Cookie cutter apartments and chain restaurants.
Inman Park!
Where’s your office? That’s also a deciding factor since Atlanta traffic is the worst
