Looking to offer website building but my experience is very limited and have only worked with Wordpress. How much experience should I have before I advertise my services? Any specific skills I should develop that are really important for business owners?

Build sample site that looks and works good for people to visit. It’ll give you experience and reference material. Good work to share is proof of your work. Length of experience doesn’t matter if your work is good.

Your experience isn’t relevant. As someone looking for a website all I care about is the result.

Someone out there has been doing average websites for 10 years, if you do elite websites in your first few months I’ll take your services all day

the only way you’d scale that thing is make a handful of templates and sell them for $150-$300 and run ads, that way you only do the build out 1/ and they can implement it themselves

I’m taking the SPHR in less than 2 months and haven’t started studying for it. How difficult is it? I’ve been in HR for 20 years and have experienced ALOT in that time, although there are always employee relations scenarios that surprise me! How much do I really need to study for this? I just can’t seem to motivate myself to do it, I’m so mentally burnt out at the end of the day from a high stress HR job, the last thing I feel like doing is studying HR!

I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance.
I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members.
Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?

Thinking about taking my experience in tech (Recruitment, HR, Ops, Marketing) and starting a side business coaching folks in career and WLB. Would like to do this through less traditional means like breathwork, sound meditation etc mixed with the more traditional approaches of goal setting, self inquiry and reflection. I would like to help others avoid burnout and find meaningful work :)
