Looking to possibly make a career change but I’m honestly not sure where to go next. I’m a finance manager working in the RV industry and I do really well but I am looking for a normal schedule and to finally have Saturdays off so I can make it to all my kid’s games. I feel like this industry is so hard to get out of because any job change comes with a huge pay cut. Has anyone else made the move out of the sales industry and what are your thoughts? Where did you go?

I joined this app to find this exact solution. I have kept my real estate license active while working in the RV industry. With all the people living in them, I have converted a few into home buyers. But at the same time it is hard to walk away from the income RV F&I can produce. My family is very young and I want to find a solution before I start missing out on even more than it already is. Have you had any luck since posting?

Down memory lane: I was selected to come over to the US to work for the parent company (used to work in the subsidiary in a different country). In 2007, I started with a cohort of just UG folks here (I had 2.5 yoe then) Salary was $65k. I was over the moon. How did that compare to consulting salary from that time? I was in engineering.

I just received a promo from jr to mid level strategist after 2 yrs, 3 months. Previous to that, I was in account for 2 years. When I made the jump to strategy, salary stayed the same. Now, with this promo, I'm making about the same as I did as a jr strategist with OT (now as mid lvl I wouldn't get OT). Internal moves are the worst here (they did the same thing to me when I went from AAE to AE). Anyone have advice besides leaving (I'm already looking)? Jr (60k + OT, mid 70k no OT)

I have been really contemplating leaving my company for quite sometime now. Here’s why: 1) recently went and got my MBA completed summer 21 2) I’m nowhere near the salary range I should be in 3) the role I’m currently in is a job that should be two levels(pay grades) higher than what it is 4) my boss is a very nit picky person and we do not collaborate very well at all. What is stopping me from leaving is that I have established rapport within the company, access to senior leaders, and flights
