I believe so. They just have to meet company guidelines(licenses, funds, etc)

As long as all guidelines are met for your company, you should be able to. All legal issues should be met as well.

Yes, that shouldn't be a problem. Take the time to thoroughly review all guidelines and get advice from legal advisors if needed.

You can, but I would cover your legal bases and consult with a lawyer just in case

Got an offer to join MBB. I have an advanced degree from a prestigious program. It's been 6 years since my undergrad and no one asked about my GPA, which is low. 4 years of work exp - most at a big4.

Should I be worried about background check? I never lied just didn't volunteer my undergrad GPA as I've been out of school for a while. I have a good reason for the low GPA if asked.

Interview questions with a PM?
I'm currently interviewing for senior software engineer and have a couple interviews with PMs (culture fit, etc).
I've had some rocky relationships with PMs.
As a PM, what would you like an engineer to ask you?
As an engineer, what would you ask a PM to understand how the work with engineers, what they prioritize, if they throw engineers under the bus, etc?
I've also had many experiences with great PMs.

Has anyone ever asked to renegotiate their salary after starting a job? I’m 2 months into my new job and I have far more responsibilities than what I was told. It’s a lot different than what was relayed in the posting and during the interviews. Additionally, they hired my counter part in as a senior manager which is at least $30k more than what I make. My peer has more experience so I expect that but I feel that I should be paid more, however I don’t want to leave a bad impression… any advice?

Would like your advices. Awhile back I applied and was video interview for a position at a competitor. I suspect I wouldn’t get it based on the vibes they gave off. Let’s take a poll: What do you love/hate about your position in Insurance? I’ll go first:

Florida PIP Litigation 1+yrs at Progressive

Love: WFH, Flexibility of not being “chained to desk” all day because I don’t have to take outside customer calls, ability to complete work assigned at any time of day within 72hrs, no micromanaging from my Supervisor, feeling like I’m my own boss

Hate: getting assigned bulks from others and it throws off efficiency of reviewing suits, monotony, depositions

In my organization, most with my role are commission based. I make a set salary due to the firm I work for as an account manager/ coordinator for clients… I coordinate their enrollments, working with each groups HR department as to benefits and payroll purposes, and schedule our benefit counselors accordingly. I am finding that in most cases where I compare the voluntary benefits industry, I might be underpaid. What is an appropriate base salary for a position in which commission is replaced?

I’ve been in life underwriting for over 20 years and honestly have never enjoyed it. The strictly production related work is hard for me to stay focused and be interested in the job. Any ideas on what else I can do and still make decent money? I’ve always found it pretty stressful and would prefer a less stressful position.
