Hi Microsoft fishes,
Can you please suggest the roles one can get in Microsoft if they are coming from a management consulting background?
My skills are mostly in market research and have very good proficiency in Excel/powerpoint while being a very beginner of python/R.
Total corporate YoE - 4 years.
Thanks for reading the post :) Microsoft
Hello folks,
I have an offer for Data Scientist from Innopleux consulting (pharma domain, www.innoplexus.com/).
Can anyone comment on the work culture, projects, tech stack, growth opportunities and overall environment and health of the company? I have read a bunch of mix reviews on glassdoor and ambitionbox. Difficult to separate authentic from cooked up reviews. Any help would be highly appreciated.

After the cybersecurity assessment…
How valuable is a MBA in Cyber industry?
I don’t have advice but I’m in the same boat. IT audit/compliance stinks
Even though it’s still somewhat audit/compliance, I think GRC type roles in industry can be a bit better
Only if you cannot demonstrate your interest or progression towards upskilling technically.
E.g. have you completed or are you completing any technical certs? Have you done any home projects?
Also, audit and GRC experience combined with technical experience is more valuable than somebody who is purely technical. So don't discard your previous experience.
I just finished up my AWS Cloud Practitioner cert. looking to get deeper and starting to study for the solutions architect.
Getting some more technical certs might help to offset the low YOE to show recruiters and hiring managers that you are serious about transitioning and gaining technical knowledge that you currently lack.
IAM can be a more technical role requiring coding and implementation work. I’d look at other roles to start.
IAM is helping clients implement IAM solutions like sailpoint, OIM, etc. if you’ve never worked or even heard of those tools before I would look elsewhere
