Wanna hear how toxic my female boss is? I encouraged a summer associate to apply for a clerkship with a pretty conservative judge that my friend (very lib) clerked for. Female partner is lib. I’m friendly with the judge and helped make the connection. Female partner dissuades associate to apply for various reasons, including politics, my encouragement, and empty promises to help with a clerkship closer to home. She has been toxic to me for years. Getting a one bedroom apartment in Atlanta. I know 550 square feet is too small but will 750 be enough? Leaning towards an 850 sq. ft. unit for $250 more. Worth it?

I want to get a dog. More specifically, a golden retriever. However, I have two major concerns: 1) this consulting lifestyle where I could potentially be away all the time and 2) I live in a pretty large 1/1 apartment (over 1000 sqft), but it's still an apartment.

Thoughts/advice?
