Question for those that are familiar with how severance pay works. I received a package a while back and was paid bi-weekly severance. The payments ended a few months ago but just the other day I had a severance deposit. Curious if it’s possible to get additional payment at this point or does this look like a mistake? I know the logical answer might be to just call but I’ll be honest in that I am still looking for a job and this would definitely help me. Thanks for your advice!

How do you tow the fine line between sticking up for yourself and not talking back to a partner? For context, our firm has seemingly started making a paper trail for layoffs and I disagree with some of the emails that I have received. I want to respond in a way that covers my own ass. However, I don’t want to piss anyone off, especially if I have read the situation incorrectly.

Currently a manager for an OP clinic. Gave my notice after receiving an offer back in patient care for more money and a better schedule. Spoke to my RVP today who had nothing but positive feedback. He asked for feedback on how to prep the next non-clinical manager as others in the region have been fired or underperformed. Should I be insulted he did not offer me a raise? Wondering if I should use this an opportunity to negotiate or run as I have been feeling undervalued?

TCS 22LPA ( retension bonus 80 + 2.25L VP)
HCL 29LPA ( 4L VP)

I am not sure how safe to prefer HCL at this time as I am having 12 plus of Exp in full stack development

Is it unethical as realtors working in an office to block chunks of time off for personal reasons? Some of my coworkers stay in their desks for up to 10 hours, but I've taken up the habit of blocking at least 1 hour daily for lunch, breaks, and other issues that may arise. Any advice on how to manage court and covid.
