If you have nothing pressing, take the day off, most managers understand if circumstances out of your control prevent you working (as long as it is a rare occurrence). If you have something due then move to the Starbucks or somewhere else you can work.

I've had my power go out, wifi go out, work laptop completely fail on me; you name it lol. In those scenarios, I just texted my Manager to talk about it.
Was either just taking the day off (obv no PTO used) or if I wanted, doing my work another time and/or taking a few meetings using a hotspot.
