My spouse works for a company and team where one gender dominates the workforce. Think 90%+. On team calls, i hear my spouse openly mocking his/her direct manager in front of a someone that reports to my spouse, saying that the direct manager is new, inept, provides illogical statements, “you know [him/her]… always illogical” etc. i think this is a dangerous behavior since, if this someone was to share this with the manager, i think it would do great damage. Am i overstepping my boundary
Hahaha EY 1, this is Advisory, consulting doesn't have a busy season... It should be busy all the time
I thought the exact same thing. I've seen 5 of these emails in FS over the past few days...
I would not be too surprised...
FS wide- it's worse on the BCM side.
I'm in TICE and I haven't seen anything. Just one last week or two weeks ago I think. A lot of people that say they're leaving are also saying they're going into something else so I think it's voluntary on that end
Was literally just going to ask this... Got 3 this morning
Is it just an FS thing? Because the only emails I get are daily time reminders and "Your Firm Today"
I know I'm FS they hired a ton over the summer and now there's not a ton of work. Sucks, hopefully picks up soon.
It's FS - I've seen EA to Director
People have been disappearing sans goodbye emails for three months. The util #s are rough.
You mean they're getting let go?
Some yes- I know for sure. Some- I'm just guessing but don't know for certain.
In FS*
PwC2 is it just within a particular practice? Or all over FS?
I know Partners are getting a lot of pressure to increase utilization of their staff. So this could all be related.
Maybe just an FS thing. I've seen about 5 farewell's since yesterday afternoon
That's interesting. What level were they? It's so expensive to recruit, hire, and train - I can't imagine them firing too many new hire associates
New hires most likely won't be fired but there are quite a few that have never been staffed
Utilization scrutiny at an all time high... Not surprised.
FS = Financial Services?
