How do you feel about interview take home tests?
Accenture Strategy fishes. I am interviewing for a banking strategy manager role. Any tips on the interview process? I have one behavioral round. One round to discuss my background (resume) and one case interview. Is the case interview very quant heavy? Is it interviewer led or interviewee? Any tips/advice for the resume round ?
Thanks in advance!

I’ll get us started.
I’ve been prepping for around a month or so now. Started by reading what a case interview is, how management/strategy consultants approach problems, then using crafting cases’ fundamentals course. Was a bit overwhelmed initially, and in a way still am as there is so much to learn and different potential cases. Not sure of a better way to start, but this has worked for me so far. I have started by learning as many of the basics and freshening up on my finance and economics knowledge. I’ve got a bit of a business background and enjoy many business-themed shows so that helps me maintain creativity when it comes to markets, running the business, and brainstorming ways to be more efficient. My weakest point at the moment is likely structuring quantitative problems that are complex and I definitely need to do more cases from start to finish, as I’ve more so worked on specific pieces of the interview at a time up to this point. I feel that I need another 2 or so months to be in good shape. If anyone wants to case, feel free to DM!
@intern 1, I’ve heard 3 months of prep is sufficient and over that is too much. I’m thinking I will put in around 60-70 hours of prep total. I’d start applying about a month or two into prep or once you reach 30ish hours. Generally the interview process allows for a month of prep in my experience before the interview.
