Anyone in sustainability and climate change consulting able to walk through a standard project they go through - is it interesting work or is it primarily creating reports for companies to leverage for year end disclosures. I’m sure if you get further into the weeds if their supply chain by evaluating suppliers, product materials sourced, fleet management it could be interesting but are companies going to this depth yet.

Infosys is offering me an almost 50% rise from my current base pay with 100% remote and client-specific travel only. Need to know if it will be a good move for me or not considering that Deloitte (my current company) is one of the Big 4. I am not sure whether joining Infosys will close the door of other Big 4 or Accenture for me or it doesn't make a difference as I already have 5+ years of experience working with Deloitte with an overall experience of 12+ years.

Do you mention who your clients are in interviews? I can never tell what the right way to do this is. I usually say something along the lines of “a large client in X industry/vertical” because dropping the client name feels tacky? But at the same time, my main client is niche and knowing who is kind of vital to understand the work.

I am currently working as a senior connsultant in my project. My work is to supervise and help my team members overcome any hurdles or help them put away blockers. But I dont want to do this, instead I want a direct client facing role(onshore oppurtunity). How do I tell my director about it in a humble way, so that he doesn't get a wrong picture of me. There are other Sr.Cons as well in the team,but I am not sure whether they want onshore oppurtunity or not.

Shes moving for about 60% more pay from external audit to senior accounting. Shes extremely sad and im confused why these firms are so uptight about this. She is giving them an additional 4 days which she wanted to use on vacation. Did she do something wrong?
